So about me? Let’s see. I began my fascination with all things digital about 20 years ago with digital scrapbooking. I began using a image editor called Picture It! by Microsoft often creating my own digital papers and elements – since digital kits were not as widely available as they are now. Over time, I learned to create my own scrapbook papers and graphics – like digital stickers, ribbons, word art and more. I learned to use Photoshop Elements and then Photoshop. I enjoy experimenting with filters and effects to see I can create. These days I love making digital art and digital papers and then using them to commemorate the big things and the little moments in my little world.
In my spare time, I also pursue other creative endeavors like creating printables, crochet and photography. I enjoy reading, Bible study and Bible journaling. And my life wouldn’t be complete with my husband of 24 years and my two young adult sons who I hang out with whenever they see fit to wander home. While others may see my life as mundane, it is a comfort to me – the routine and the safety of home is irreplaceable. Home, church, family, friends, Bible study, work, and often lastly creating.
Speaking of work, my nine to five is at a local credit union in the processing department. Yes, it is exactly as exciting as it sounds, but I do enjoy my work and those I work with. It does, however, leave me craving for some creativity and individuality and the only way I have found to remedy that is in creation – of digital art, of crocheted gifts, of printable, or photographs.
